Background: The son of Rory and Emma Steele, Keelan was a member of the Canada Elite squad, which has had a number of their members make NBA rosters, with the most recent member being Nickeil-Alexander Walker in the 2019 NBA drat (17th overall) ... a 3-time MVP of his high school, Orangeville District Secondary School, Keelan was also an accomplished high jumper for the track team, where he placed first in the event in his school district ... he has two brothers.
