Prior to Maine: Joseph Stella is from Pittston, Pennsylvania and attends Pittston Area High School . He will be a four year varsity starter on the baseball team and captain his junior & senior years. Joseph was a Rawlings Perfect Game All American/All Region team for 2016, 2017 and 2018. He received All Tournament Honors at both Perfect Game Super 25 National Championship in Fort Myers, Florida and WWBA National Championship in Emerson,Ga. Joe was named to the Wyoming Valley Conference All Star team in 2018 and led the league with a .512 batting average & 19 RBIs. He played travel ball for Baseball U Pa. He also played hockey and basketball.

"Joe will be joining a long line of excellent catchers. He is a very good receiver with some pop in the bat. He will balance the offensive side of our catching depth because of his strong right handed stick. He adds some versatility to the lineup as he can play multiple positions at a high level.
