Field Hockey's Nicole Sevey Selected as 2015 Longstreth/NFHCA All-American
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine Field Hockey team's Nicole Sevey was selected to the 2015 Longstreth/NFHCA All-American Second Team.
She is the eighth Black Bear in program history to be selected as an All-American and the third year in a row that a Black Bear has been an All-American.
This selection includes a year full of accolades for Sevey: recently selected last week by Longstreth/NFHCA as a member of the Northeast All-Region First team. The NFHCA senior all-star game in Ann Arbor, Michigan and was selected to the America East First-Team All-Conference.
She started in all 23 games for Maine this season. She accumulated four goals and a career high eight assists for a total of 16 points scored.
