Black Bears join New Balance for annual Community Day event
WATERVILLE, Maine -- University of Maine student-athletes and coaches assembled at the Alfond Youth & Community Center on Aug. 5 for the annual New Balance Community Day.
In the annual event, members of the Black Bear athletics community spent the morning mentoring the youth of central Maine and teaching skills of various sports while creating memories that extend far beyond the game.
