Dayton, Ohio – The University of Maine baseball program was defeated in walk-off fashion in game two of the series against Dayton, 10-9.

Juju Stevens got the Black Bears on the board in the first inning as he hit his team-leading sixth home run of the season, a solo shot to right field.
Brody Rasmussen plated three runs on one swing in the second inning as he hit his first home run of the season to left field, scoring

Quinn Murphy hit his second home run of the series and season in the fourth inning, a two-run shot to left field, scoring

Pitching Breakdown:
Jason Krieger got the start on the mound as he went five innings, allowing five runs (3 earned) on five hits, three walks and six strikeouts.
Vaun Larisa was called on out of the bullpen as he went three innings, allowing no runs on three hits, two walks and striking out three.
Jack Donlin pitched the ninth inning for Maine, allowing three runs (one earned) on two walks and failing to record an out.
Owen Wheeler (0-1) was called on with the bases loaded in the ninth inning, in which he allowed two runs on two walks and a strikeout in the ninth inning in 2/3 of an inning of work.
Sebastian Holt allowed two hits, including the walk-off hit, to end the contest.
