Durham, N.C. – The University of Maine baseball team dropped the final two games of the weekend series on Saturday afternoon at Duke.

Game 1: First Pitch – 1 PM (3-0 Duke – 7 Inn.)
Pitching Breakdown:

Jason Krieger (0-1) went five innings in his first start since the 2024 season as he allowed three runs on eight hits, two walks and five strikeouts.

Rex Hauser went one inning in relief in his collegiate debut on the mound, recording an out on all three batters faced.

Game 2: First Pitch – 3:30 PM (7-1 Duke)
Scoring Plays:
Brody Rasmussen (1B) scored the lone run of the game for the Black Bears as he scored on an RBI groundout by Will Barter.

Pitching Breakdown:
Thomas Stabley (0-1) made his collegiate debut on the mound, allowing four runs on four hits and five walks in three and two-thirds innings of work.

Owen Wheeler recorded the final out of the fourth frame.
