Orono, Maine -- The America East Conference announced on Monday morning that Ace Flagg of the University of Maine men's basketball program was named the Rookie of the Week for the Conference following a 2-0 week for the Black Bears.

Flagg, a native of Newport, Maine, played a career-high 30 minutes per game last week against Binghamton and UAlbany, in which he averaged 11.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 4.0 APG in the first multi-win week of the season for Maine.

He had a career-high 12 points in the comeback victory UAlbany, grabbing a career-high eight rebounds and dishing out a career-high four assists before following up the performance with 11 points against Binghamton and another four assists.
