Orono, Maine – University of Maine Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Van Wagner, has announced that it will televise all five of Maine's home football games on local television. These select games will air live on WVII ABC 7 and WFVX FOX 22 Bangor.

"As a local broadcaster, I have great pride broadcasting the Maine home football games. Go Black Bears," WVII/WFVX General Manager Mike Palmer said.

The first broadcast of the season will take place on Maine's home opening weekend when the Black Bears host Stonehill on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. on ABC 7 in Bangor. Maine's Coastal Athletic Association contest against North Carolina A&T State on Saturday, Sept. 27 will air at 3:30 p.m. live on FOX 22 locally while the Homecoming game against Elon can also be seen on FOX 22 on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. The Black Bears will host Stony Brook on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. live on ABC 7 before closing out the home broadcast schedule when they host longtime rival Rhode Island on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m., also on ABC 7.
 

Jim Churchill and ABC 7's Jack Webb will have the call of all five Black Bears football games throughout the fall.
