ORONO, Maine -- Registration is now open for the 2025 University of Maine Sports Hall of Fame Induction Banquet, presented by Hammond Lumber Company. The achievements of these five individual inductees and four team inductees will be celebrated at this prestigious event:

• Meagan Aarts '04, Women's Ice Hockey
• Ben Bishop '09, Men's Ice Hockey
• Brandon McGowan '05, Football
• Bill Schroeder '58, Men's Track & Field
• Brian Seguin '92, Baseball
• 1977-78 Women's Swimming & Diving Team
• 1963-64 Men's Cross Country Team
• 1963-64 Men's Indoor Track & Field Team 
• 1963-64 Men's Outdoor Track & Field Team 

This year's induction banquet will take place on Friday, Sept. 26 at Jeff's Catering at 15 Event Center Way, Brewer, Maine from 5:00-8:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a social hour and hors d'oeuvres starting at 5:00 p.m. followed by a buffet meal at 6:30 p.m. and the official induction presentations of all the inductees.
 
This special event will be by reservation only, with limited space available. The registration deadline is Sept. 19, but please register early, as this event is expected to sellout. Adult reservations for the event are available for $65. Children (aged 7-12) are $25 and children six and under are free.
