Storrs, CT – The University of Maine baseball team fell in the regular season finale at UConn on Sunday.
Black Bear Scoring Breakdown:
Damon Gaither tied the game up at 1-1 in the seventh frame as he hit a solo home run to left field, his sixth of the season.
Black Bear Pitchers:
Gianni Gambardella went 4 innings in the scheduled shortened start, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.
Jason Libby went 2 shutout innings in relief, allowing 1 hit and 1 walk, striking out 2.
