ORONO, Maine -- Maine Athletics thanks you in advance for your contributions to today's annual Maine Day of Giving!
Maine Day of Giving is a 24-hour day of philanthropy at the University of Maine where UMaine alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends join together from anywhere by making a gift to support what they love about the College of Our Hearts, Always.
All gifts to Maine Athletics are also matched 1:1 with gifts to the Alfond Fund by the Harold Alfond Foundation.
The University of Maine provides unwavering support for the Black Bears through campus-wide initiatives to enhance game day experiences for fans and players alike. Financial support, however, is what allows our Maine Athletics teams to strive and shine, whether with new equipment on the field, or scholarship support in the classroom. We rely on our generous donors for the financial assistance required when growing and maintaining a Division I athletics program. Even modest, annual gifts matter, as initiatives such as the Alfond Challenge measure donor participation, as well as dollars raised.
