Box Score ORONO, Maine - The Maine women's ice hockey team split the weekend series with Boston University after losing Saturday's game, 2-1, at Alfond Arena.
Lily Fetch was the goal-scorer for Maine on a powerplay opportunity in the first period.
Lulu Rucinski and
Gracie Hanson earned the assists, as the Black Bears held a 1-0 lead throughout the first period.
Maine continued to hold the lead throughout the majority of second period, until the Terriers tied it up with 31 seconds left in the period. About halfway through the final period, Boston University scored the game-winning goal.
