ORONO, MAINE - The Maine women's ice hockey team lost a tight matchup to the #8 Northeastern Huskies on Saturday at Alfond Arena, 2 to 1.
Isabelle Michaud scored for the Black Bears five minutes into the game off a faceoff play from
Lily Fetch.
The Black Bears held the lead until about the halfway point in the game when Northeastern tied it up. Late in the second period, the Huskies notched a second goal to take the lead. The third period went scoreless with the game ending in favor of the Huskies.
