Box Score WORCESTER, MA - The Maine women's ice hockey team came away with a 2-1 victory over Holy Cross on Friday at Hart Center Rink.
Holy Cross scored first, but 27 seconds later Sophomore
Brenna Curl scored her first career goal to kick off the scoring for Maine.
Stephanie Jacob picked up the assist on the game tying goal. A minute and a half later,
Lulu Rucinski scored what would be the game-winning goal on the powerplay.
Gracie Hanson and
Paige Fong earned assists, as Maine held off the Crusaders for the rest of the game.Â
Sophomore goaltender
Kiia Lahtinen stood tall in goal making 26 of 27 saves for a .963 save percentage.Â
