HOPKINTON, New Hampshire -- The University of Maine men's cross country program competed in the New England Cross Country Championships of Friday afternoon, Maine finished 3rd with 112 points.

Charlie Collins led the way for the Black Bears with another top 10 finish. Collins finished 7th overall with a time of 24:16.52. Connor Daigle finished as Maine's second finisher, finishing in the top 15 overall. Daigle finished 14th overall with a time of 24:44.09. Kyle McClellan finished 27th overall at the New England Championships, finishing with a time of 25:09.29.

Maine returns to action on October 31 as they take apart in the America East Championships in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
