Preview: Cross Country Travels to Missouri for Gans Creek Invitational

Orono, ME - The University of Maine cross country programs are set to take on the University of Missouri on Friday September 27 in the Gans Creek Invitational. The meet will be held in Columbia, Missouri where the men's program will start at 8:00 am and the women's program will start shortly after at 8:45 am.
Men's competitors to watch:
Fisher Macklin - Macklin is coming off a top 10 finish in the University of Vermont Invitational which was the last meet that he competed in. Look for Macklin to have another strong performance on Friday.
Lucas Bergeron - Bergeron last competed in the University of Vermont Invitational along with Macklin. Bergeron finished in the top 15 overall and looks to continue his strong season.
Women's competitors to watch:
Kennedy Taylor - Taylor is coming off the University of Vermont Invitational where she finished with the top overall time for the University of Maine. The freshman looks to build off this performance for another solid performance in Missouri.
Bea Resser - Reeser is also coming off of the University of Vermont Invitational. Reeser finished 2nd behind Taylor in the athletes from Maine. Another strong performance from Reeser is coming after a great first start.
