Baltimore, MD - The University of Maine baseball team was defeated by UMBC on Thursday afternoon.
First Pitch: 3 P.M. (7-1 UMBC)
First Inning: UMBC got on the board first with a sac fly to left field in the opening frame.
Fourth Inning: UMBC scored four runs in the frame.
Marshall Smaracko was called on to record the final out of the fourth inning. Krieger allowed 5 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits, 4 walks and 2 strikeouts across his 3 and ⅔ innings of work.

Owen Wheeler began the fifth inning on the mound for Maine.
