Box Score Port Charlotte, FL - The University of Maine baseball team was swept by Pittsburgh on opening weekend after dropping game three, 13-3 in eight innings.
First Pitch - Noon - 13-3 Pittsburgh
Second Inning: Zach Martin got the Black Bears on the board first as he plated two runs on a single to left field, scoring Nick White (2B) and Jake Marquez (HBP).
Pittsburgh responded in the bottom of the frame by scoring three runs, two of them being earned.
Third Inning: Dean O'Neill tied the contest back up at 3-3 as he launched his first home run of the season, a solo shot to center field.
