ORONO, Maine – The #7 University of Maine fell to #10/13 Providence College, 4-3, in overtime on Saturday night at Alfond Arena.

The Black Bears took a 1-0 lead with 12 seconds to play in the first period off of
Josh Nadeau's 15th goal of the season. The Friars equalized in the second but Maine once again took a one-goal lead into the break thanks to a
Ben Poisson power-play goal.

Providence would go on to respond to Maine goals two more times, tying things up midway through the third and then answering
Brandon Chabrier's power-play tally to force overtime.
Guillaume Richard scored a power-play goal 23 seconds into overtime for the 4-3 win.
