ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine women's soccer team advanced to a second straight America East Championship game with a 2-0 win over UMass Lowell on Thursday night at Mahaney Diamond.

Kayla Kraemer opened the scoring just under five minutes into the contest, finishing off a right flank service from
Emma Schneider. The Black Bears went up 2-0 in the 69th minute on an
Abbey Thornton goal, as again Maine was able to finish a ball from the wing.

- Maine had the 16-5 lead in shots and the 10-1 lead in shots on goal.
- The Black Bears had five corner kicks while UMass Lowell had four.
- Kayla Kraemer scored her fourth goal of the season, tying a career-best … she now has a career-high 11 points on the season … it was her second game-winning goal of the season and the fourth of her career.
- Abbey Thornton scored her third goal of the season, a new career-high.
- Emma Schneider, Lara Kirkby, Jordane Pinette and Gillian Rovers each registered an assist.
- Rovers earned her first career assist and the second for Emma Schneider.

- Myla Schneider, Emma Schneider and Anna Phillips all played the full 90 minutes.
- Maine is now 9-4-1 in the all-time series with UMass Lowell.
- Maine's 12 wins on the season mark the most for the Black Bears since going 14-4-2 in 2006.
