ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine women's soccer team advanced to a second straight America East Championship game with a 2-0 win over UMass Lowell on Thursday night at Mahaney Diamond.
Kayla Kraemer opened the scoring just under five minutes into the contest, finishing off a right flank service from Emma Schneider. The Black Bears went up 2-0 in the 69th minute on an Abbey Thornton goal, as again Maine was able to finish a ball from the wing.
