ORONO, Maine – The #7 University of Maine men's ice hockey team and Boston University battled to a 2-2 tie in front of a sold-out crowd at Alfond Arena on Saturday night.

BU won the shootout for the extra Hockey East point.

The Terriers took a 1-0 lead exactly 10 minutes into the contest but
Nolan Renwick would respond at the 16:35 mark, scoring his fifth goal of the season on the power play.
Anthony Calafiore scored midway through the second period, finishing a rebound at the left post. The 2-1 lead held until the final minute of regulation, with BU finding the equalizer with 20 seconds to go in regulation.

After a scoreless overtime and three scoreless rounds of a shootout, Ryan Greene converted for the win.
