Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine women's cross country team placed second with a score of 51 in the Maine Black Bear Cross Country Invitational on Friday afternoon at Penobscot Valley Country Club.
Megan Randall posted the top finish for the Black Bears as she was the runner-up in the event with a time of 17:54.9.
Marlee Yoder rounded out Maine's top-10 finishers with an eighth place showing at 18:32.9 while
Jaymie Sidaway finished 11th at 18:45.2
Maine returns to action when it travels to compete in the John McNichols Invitational, hosted by Indiana State, on Sept. 14.
