Buffalo, New York - University of Maine women's ice hockey defender, Amalie Andersen signed a one year contract to join the Buffalo Beauts in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Andersen also makes history by becoming the first player from Denmark to ever play in PHF history.
Andersen, a senior from Herning, Denmark was a Black Bear for all four years appearing on ice for 60 games. She recorded two goals and seven assists for nine total points.Â
The PHF is the home of professional women's hockey in North America. The Buffalo Beauts are a professional women's ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. The Beauts are one of the Founding Four teams of the PHF that stepped on the ice in 2015 and the 2017 Isobel Cup Champions.
