Orono, ME – Ryan Turenne's walk-off grand slam completes the weekend sweep for the Black Bears at Mahaney Diamond over Bryant, 11-8.
 
Second Inning: Nick White got the Black Bears on the board in the second frame as he hit his second home run of the season, a solo shot to right field.
 
Fourth Inning – Derek Smith got Bryant on the board in the fourth inning as he plated a pair of runs on a double to right field. Matt Smith scored Derek Smith on a double to make it a 3-run frame for Bryant.
 
Logan Burrill answered for the Black Bears as he hit a double down to left field line, scoring Nick White (2B) on the play.
 
Fifth Inning – Quinn McDaniel got the Black Bears back in front as he hit his 13^th home run of the season and second of the weekend series, this one being a two-run shot to right field. Jake Rainess (1B/SB) scored on the play.
 
Sixth Inning – Matt Smith tied it up for Bryant as he tripled to right field, scoring one run. Bryant took the lead on an RBI single by Jackson Phinney.
 
Seventh Inning – Bryant took their largest lead of the game as they put up three more runs in the seventh inning, two on a double by Gavin Noriega and one on a double by John Hosmer.
 
Connor Goodman got one run back for the Black Bears as he hit a sac-fly to center field, scoring Jake Rainess (E6) on the play.
 
Eighth Inning – Jeff Mejia came off the bench and delivered for the Black Bears with a pinch-hit double down the left field line, scoring Ryan Turenne (BB) on the play.
 
Ninth Inning – Quinn McDaniel led the Black Bears off in the final frame with his second home run of the game and third of the weekend. His 14^th home run of the season was a no-doubter to right field.
 
Ryan Turenne played the hero on the regular season finale for the Black Bears as he launched his second career walk-off grand slam to right field. Mike Pratte (PR), Nick White (2B) and Matt McElwain (IBB) all scored on the game-winning shot. The home run was Turenne's 3^rd of the season.
 
Justin Baeyens (3-3) picked up the win for Maine as he fired a scoreless ninth inning.
 
Toby Scheidt (2-1) took the loss for Bryant.
 
Maine concludes the regular season with a 19-5 America East record and a 29-19 overall record. They will begin the America East Tournament on Thursday, May 25 as they clinched the opening round bye for the tournament as the #1 seed. They will play the lowest remaining seed in the playoffs at 11:00 A.M. in Vestel, NY.
