Second Inning: NJIT got the on board first in the second inning as they bunted home a run and hit a sac-fly to make it a two-run inning.
Third Inning: Gianni Gambardella began the third inning on the mound for the Black Bears. Caleb Leys went only 2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.
Fifth Inning: Jeremiah Jenkins got the Black Bears on the board as he singled to center field, scoring Quinn McDaniel (2B) on the play.
NJIT plated their third run of the contest on a bunt single by Andrew Elcock.
Seventh Inning: Grant Vurpillat was called on to begin the seventh inning for NJIT. Aidan Kidd want 6 innings allowing just 1 run on 6 hits, 2 walks, 3 hit batters and striking out 6.
