First Inning: The Black Bears got their offense going early as Connor Goodman hit an RBI single to left field, scoring Jake Rainess (1B/SB) on the play.

Jeff Mejia added an RBI of his own for the Black Bears on an infield single to first base, scoring Quinn McDaniel (BB/SB).

Caleb Leys turned in a great first frame for the Black Bears, setting all three batters down, two by way of the strikeout.

Second Inning: Jake Rainess doubled the Black Bear lead with one swing of the bat as he hit a two-run home run to right field, scoring Dylan McNary (2B) on the play.

Quinn McDaniel (1B) added another run in the frame for the Black Bears as he scored on a wild pitch thrown by Alex Barker.
