BOSTON – The #9 University of Maine men's hockey team fell to the #8 Boston University Terriers, 5-4, on Saturday night at Agganis Arena.

For the second night in a row, it was the Black Bears that struck first with
Bradly Nadeau potting his seventh of the season 10 minutes into the game. BU evened the scored by the end of the opening stanza and then took a 2-1 lead into the third period.

Lynden Breen pulled Maine within a goal and then BU responded with two goals for a 5-2 lead midway through the third. Over the final seven minutes,
Josh Nadeau and
Nicholas Niemo both found the back of the net but the Terriers held off the Black Bears' surge for the 5-4 final.
