Orono, Maine -- University of Maine redshirt freshman Megan Randall was named the America East Rookie of the Meet after placing second with a time of 17:25.27 at the 2023 America East Championships held at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono.

Randall guided Maine to a fourth place finish at the meet as the Black Bears accumulated 88 points with three runners placing in the top 18.

Randall was followed by Marlee Yoder who placed 11th with a time of 18:33.50. Lydia Gilmore crossed the line 18th for the Black Bears at 18:45.89.
