- The Black Bears are coming off of their first two games of the season that were played at home versus Quinnipiac. Game one ended in a 2-3 overtime loss and the Black Bears were also defeated in game two 0-3.
- Ida Kuoppala and Mira Seregély are both coming off big performances, each scoring a goal in the Friday matchup versus Quinnipiac. Kuoppala also picked up an assist giving her two points on the weekend.
- Jorden Mattison got the start in both games, stopping 59 shots overall in the weekend contest.
