WEST HARTFORD, CT – The University of Maine baseball team dropped the series final against Hartford, 7-2.
Third Inning: Jordan Schulefand scored the opening run of the game as he stole second and third and then scored on a wild pitch. Joe Bramanti made it 2-0 as he grounded out to second, scoring Quinn McDaniel.
Donnie Cohoon tied the game up at 2-2 as he hit a 2-run home run to right field, scoring Devin Kellogg. Derek Tenney grabbed the lead for Hartford as he hit a solo home run to left field.
Julien Guroux-Harvey's day came to an end after 3 innings of work, as he allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on no hits, 2 walks, 3 hit batters and striking out 3.
Fifth Inning: Derek Tenney added a run for the Hawks as he hit a double to left field, scoring Kevin Koziol.
