Andre Miller has signed a free agent contract with the New York Giants, as announced on Sunday, May 1.
Miller, an Old Town, Maine native, is a two-time All-CAA honoree after earning first team honors in the spring of 2021 and a second team nod following the fall 2021 season. In his final season at Maine, Miller registered a career-high 39 receptions for a career-best 684 yards and three touchdowns in nine games as he ranked ninth in the CAA in receptions per game (3.9), fourth in receiving yards per game (68.4) while averaging 17.5 yards per catch.
A two-time Preseason All-CAA selection by Phil Steele, Miller burst onto the scene in Maine's 2018 FCS Semifinal contest at Eastern Washington where he registered nine receptions for 129 yards and a touchdown. Miller continued his progression the following season when he grabbed 28 receptions for 529 yards and four touchdowns, including a Maine record setting 90-yard reception for a score.
Miller was named to the All-CAA First Team in the spring of 2021 where he led the league in receptions per game (5.25) and receiving yards per game (87.0) while tying for the league lead in regular season touchdown receptions with six.
Miller concluded his career with the Black Bears ranked 14th on Maine's all-time receiving yards list with 1,848 yards, including seven performances of 100 yards or more in a single game, to go along with 104 receptions and 14 touchdowns.
