BOSTON -- The University of Maine men's ice hockey team was defeated by the Boston University Terriers, 4-0, on Friday evening in the Agganis Arena.

First Goal (1-0 #19 Boston University): 1:47 into the first period, the Terriers scored a power play goal to grab a 1-0 lead. Logan Cockerill directed the puck past the Black Bears netminder into the back of the net. Maine trailed by a goal early into the Hockey East contest.

Second Goal (2-0 #19 Boston University): Wilmer Skoog scored from behind the Maine net. Left unmarked, the Terrier forward netted the second goal of the first period for his squad. At the end of 20:00, the Black Bears were behind 2-0.

Third Goal (3-0 #19 Boston University): Early in the second period, the Terriers extended their lead. Robert Mastrosimone tipped home a bouncing puck.
Victor Ostman originally made the save but could not make the follow. Maine trailed 3-0 early in the second period.

Fourth Goal (4-0 #19 Boston University): Mastrosimone scored his second goal of the evening to give the Terriers a 4-0 lead halfway through the second period. It was the final goal of the night as the two Hockey East foes skated to a scoreless third period.

Notes: Victor Ostman stopped 35 shots for the Black Bears, while Vinny Duplessis tallied 27 saves for Boston University.

Maine went 0 for 3 on its power play opportunity, as the Terriers were 1-2 on its player advantages.
