Orono, Maine -- The University of Maine women's cross country team placed 12th with 289 points at the New England Championships.

Lydia Gilmore led the Black Bears with a 17th place effort, crossing the line at 18:51. Rachel Hodge turned in a 49th place mark at 19:27 while Marlee Yoder came home in 67th at 19:48.
