Orono, Maine - The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams will take part in the 2022 America East Championship Meet on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Jerusalem Mill Park M.D with the men's 8K race set to begin at 10:00 A.M. and the women's 5K race is set to begin at 11:00 A.M.

In the 2021 America East Championship, the Maine men's team finished with a combined score of 129, which was good for 4th best in the Conference. Luke Marsanskis is the Maine men's top returning finisher. He finished the 2021 America East Championship with a time of 24:05.4.
The women in the 2021 America East Championship Lydia Gilmore is the top returning finisher. She concluded the 2021 season finishing 25th in the Championship meet, coming in with a final time of 18:07.78.
