ORONO - Out of an abundance of caution, Maine and Hartford baseball agreed to cancel today's doubleheader due to an ongoing campus investigation of a threat made on social media. 

Maine and Hartford exited the Mahaney Diamond Complex today during warmups, as both teams waited to see if the situation would be resolved quickly. With the situation still ongoing into the afternoon, both teams made the choice to cancel the Sunday set.

Maine is back in action next weekend, scheduled to travel to UMass-Lowell on Saturday and Sunday for a set of doubleheaders.
