BANGOR, Maine - The University of Maine men's basketball program dropped a critical conference tilt against the University of New Hampshire on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats hung on to take a 77-70 victory at the Cross Insurance Arena.

MAINE GAME NOTES

The game was tight end-to-end, featuring nine lead changes and eight ties, with nearly an even split in time leading (Maine 17:43, UNH 16:35).
Maine held the lead last at the 5:24 mark of the second half, but made just one of their last six shot attempts while UNH went 7-8 at the free throw line to seal the deal.
Nedeljko Prijovic led the Maine offense with 18 points on 5-8 shooting on the night, alongside nine rebounds. Prijovic has now hit double-digit points in four of his last six appearances.
Sergio El Darwich was right behind him with 17 points along with a team-high five assists.
Freshman Veljko Radakovic was a revelation off the bench, knocking down four of his five field goal attempts on his way to a career-high 11 points in twelve minutes.
Stephane Ingo pulled down eleven boards, his second straight game with double-digit rebounds. He also added in eight points and a pair of blocks.
Maine had a tough day from three, connecting on just five of 20 attempts on the night. UNH tallied 14 second-chance points, and 14 off of Maine turnovers in the winning effort.

Maine's last home game of the 2019-20 season will take place on Saturday afternoon, as the Black Bears host UMBC at the Cross. Tip is set for 1:00, with a Senior Day ceremony taking place beforehand.
