LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- The University of Maine women's soccer team (4-2-0, 0-0-0 AE) was defeated by the Siena College Saints (2-5-1, 0-0-0 MAAC), 1-0, on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Siena College.
Â
First Goal (1-0 Siena): Amber Alfonzo got the Saints on the board 22 minutes into the non-conference match-up. The forward head used her head to find the back of the net for her squad and grab a 1-0 lead. Not known at the time of the score, it was the first and only goal of the game.

Birte Speck and
Emma Donovan had their two second half shots saved by the Siena goalkeeper.
