ORONO, Maine—The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams return home to compete against the University of New Hampshire on Friday at 3 p.m.
The Black Bears look for another strong performance after the men took third and the women fourth at the Sanchez Southern Invitational last week.
Maine will look for another set of strong performances from
Jacob Terry and
Emma Jourdain, the top finishers from last week's meet. Terry placed 11
th with a time of 25:21.63 in the 8k competition while Jourdain placed 18
th with a final time of 24:01.20.
Last year, when the two programs matched up, the men's team was able to come away with a 22-34 victory while the women's team fell by a 15-46 final count.
