ORONO, Maine - The Maine men's and women's cross country teams hosted the Wildcats of the University of New Hampshire for a dual meet in Orono on Friday afternoon, with UNH leaving town with a pair of victories.
The men's team fell by a 15-45 final tally, with senior
Jacob Terry leading the pack for the second straight match with a 26:16 posting to place seventh overall. On the women's side, junior
Emma Jourdain set the pace as well for the second straight time, putting up an even 20:00 effort to finish ninth overall in the 15-50 UNH victory.
Both teams will have a lengthy period of time away from competition, next taking to the course on October 12th at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston.
