Pasic’s Diving Tag Featured on SportCenter’s Top 10 Plays

STARKVILLE, MISS. – A tremendous diving tag by junior catcher Cody Pasic in the bottom of the fourth inning kept game one of Friday's doubleheader against No. 7 Mississippi State scoreless. The play was recognized by as the fifth-best play on ESPN's SportCenter on Friday night.

After a wild pitch, Pasic scooped the ball near the turf grass. The Cotuit, Mass native fully extended his body and applied the tag to keep the game scoreless against No. 7 Mississippi State. The runner was originally called safe, but after a video review, the Bulldog runner was determined to be out. The Bulldogs would end up winning game one of the doubleheader by a 9-2 score.

Pasic and the Black Bears will look to take game three of the series against No. 7 Mississippi State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
