ORONO, Maine – One final time this regular season, the Maine Black Bears will leave New England, heading to Long Island to battle Stony Brook. The Saturday night opening tip is slated to start at 7:00 p.m. at Island Federal Credit Union Arena.

LAST TIME OUT: Â On Sunday afternoon in America East men's basketball action, the UAlbany Great Danes shot superior from beyond the 3-point arc and from the free throw line, defeating Maine 63-54 on Spread Respect Day at the Cross Insurance Center.
Andrew Fleming drained 6-of-13 shots he took from the field for a team-high 14 points.Â
Isaiah White shot an efficient 5-of-7 on his field goal attempts for 11 points, including back-to-back jams in the first half.Â
Dennis Ashley reached double-figures for the second-consecutive game, making 4-of-7 attempts along with distributing three assists.Â
Sergio El Darwich filled the stat sheet with eight points, six assists and five rebounds, while collecting a block and two steals.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE SEAWOLVES: The Maine Black Bears built an early second-half lead of 18 points, but Stony Brook stormed back to esteal a 64-61 contest at the Cross Insurance Center on Jan. 19.
Terion Moss led the Black Bears (3-17, 1-4 AE) with a career-high 23 points, including an impressive shooting performance of 6-of-12 mark from 3-point range. He grabbed five boards, recorded three steals and did not commit a turnover in 40 minutes played.
Sergio El Darwich shot 5-of-13 from the floor for 16 points. He also pulled down seven boards, while distributing five assists.Â
Andrew Fleming cleaned the glass with a game-high nine rebounds, adding six points in the box score.

SCOUTING STONY BROOK: The Seawolves are coming off of just their third America East loss of the season, falling to UAlbany on Thursday. The Great Danes snapped a four-game Stony Brook win streak with a 74-70 victory at Island Federal Credit Union Arena. SBU made just five 3-pointers on 22 attempts and shot just 47.6 percent (8-17) from the free throw line in the second half in the loss.
