DURHAM, New Hampshire -- The University of Maine women's soccer team was defeated by the University of New Hampshire, 2-0, on a cold, Thursday night in Durham.

First Goal (UNH 1-0): Ally Reynolds found the back of the net early into the Border Battle for the Wildcats. The forward took a vicious strike from outside of the 18-yard box. Unfortunately for the Black Bears, Reynolds' ball gave UNH a 1-0 advantage eight minutes into the evening bout.

UNH's goal was the only tally of the first half. Maine outshot the Wildcats, 5-1, in the opening 45:00.

Second Goal (UNH 2-0): Reynolds added her second goal of the game with six minutes left in the second half. Sofia Borea was credited with the assist.

The 2-0 score would stand as Maine dropped to 5-6-1, 1-4-1 AE on the season.Â

Shots/Keepers: Maine held a 11-to-6 in shots, while UNH won the corner kick battle, 1-0.Â
