Swimming and Diving Releases 2018-19 Schedule

ORONO, Maine – University of Maine swimming and diving head coach Susan Lizzotte has announced the team's 2018-19 schedule. The Black Bears will host three different meets at the Stanley M. Wallace Pool during the season.
 
Maine will travel to the University of Rhode Island for the season opener on October 13. The team will then compete against Boston College and Northeastern University the following week, October 20, in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
 
The women's team is hosting its first America East meet of the season against the University of Vermont on November 3. The Black Bears will go on to compete in the Harold Anderson Invitational November 16-18, hosted by the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I.
 
The Black Bears will fight for the state crown at the Maine State Meet in Brunswick. Hosted by Bowdoin College, Bates College and Colby College will compete to be the best in the state.
 
Maine opens 2019 with two home meets at the Stanley M. Wallace Pool before the America East Championship. First, on January 19 where teams will compete again against Bowdoin, and again on January 26 hosting Providence in a dual meet.
 
The swimming and diving teams will close out their season at the America East Championships, which will be held at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Sport and Recreation Center from February 15-17.
