ORONO, Maine—The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams return home to compete against the University of New Hampshire on Friday at 3 p.m.
 
The Black Bears look for another strong performance after the men took third and the women fourth at the Sanchez Souther invitational last week.
 
A seventh place finish by men's senior Aaron Willingham will lead him into the weekend as the America East Conference's Male Performer of the Week.
 
The women last week were led by senior Haley Lawrence, who finished 24^th with a time of 23:32.62.
 
The last time New Hampshire came to Maine, the Black Bears earned an impressive victory with four runners in the top five of the Sept. 2017 dual-meet.
