ORONO, Maine - The Black Bears travel to SEFCU Arena in Albany, NY to face conference foe Albany, coming in on a three-game losing skid, while the Great Danes have bounced back from a conference losing streak of their own two win two straight.

SCOUTING MAINE
Maine is coming off a tough loss to rival UNH as the Wildcats came up to Bangor and took down Maine 74-63, having never given up the lead in the game.
Wes Myers scored a game-high 25 points while
Vincent Eze tallied 13 and
Jaquan McKennon chipped in with 10. While Maine shot an impressive 80% from the free-throw line, it couldn't make up for their 36% first half FGP, compared to UNH's 50% FGP.
Myers leads the team in points per game with 16.7, 24.0 in conference play; he ranks fourth in conference in points per game, and second in total points with 351. Myers also ranks in the top 50 nationally for made free throws with 91 (ranked 39th, second in conference).
Andrew Fleming, who missed five games with an ankle injury, returned against UNH for a six-point three-rebound effort; he averages 10.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game; he's fourth in conference in rebounds per game.
Ryan Bernstein is has re-taken the lead in the conference assist/TO ratio category with 3.09, which ranks him 25th in the nation in that stat. He has 68 assists on the season, averaging 3.2 per game.
Vincent Eze has started the last eight games for Maine and has seen his play time and stats steadily increasing. He is averaging 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in conference play. Maine as a whole has shown great strengths in rebounding this season, as they are third in the conference in offensive rebounds per game with 11.33 and first in conference for total rebounds with 741. Maine looks to long-range offense often, as they lead the conference in three-point attempts this season with 476, and are fifth in conference for three-point makes with 152.
SCOUTING ALBANY
Albany started off conference play with a three game losing streak but have bounced back with big wins over UMBC, and most recently Binghamton on Thursday night. For the Great Danes, David Nichols and Joe Cremo lead all scorers with 25 and 22 points respectively. The Great Danes outscored the Bearcats by 10 points in the second half to win by a final score of 84-65.
Nichols and Cremo lead the Great Danes in scoring so far this season, Cremo with 17.2 points per game, and Nichols with 16.6 points per game. Cremo leads the conference in field goal percentage with 48.4%, Nichols is fourth with 45.9%. Nichols is also second in the conference in total steals with 28.
ALL TIME SERIES
Maine and Albany have faced off a total of 31 times, with Albany holding the all-time advantage with a 18-13 record against Maine. Last season the teams split the season series with Maine winning on January 15th 81-79 at the Cross Center, and then Albany taking their home game at SEFCU, 108-64 on February 14th.
In January, Maine had four double-digit scorers in their two-point victory, Isaac Vann (19),
Aaron Calixte (16),
Kevin Little (16), and
Till Gloger (11). Albany owned the game-high scorer however, as Peter Hooley dropped 29 points on 11-17 shooting.
In the rematch in February, Albany outscored Maine by 22 points in each half, winning by a total of 44; Isaac Vann had 26 points for Maine, while every Albany player who had minutes in the game scored over 7 points each, with the highest total being Ray Sanders with 22.
