2010-11: Will serve as a Captain for the Black Bears.
IN 2009-10: Named the recipient of the Palmer Plaque for Academic Excellence and also a member of the All-Maine Women’s Society ... Placed 28th in the 50 freestyle, 29th in the 100 fly and 29th in the 100 freestyle all at the America East Championships ... Named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll ... A Maine Scholar-Athlete Silver Medal Award Winner.
IN 2008-09: Finished 23rd in the 50 free event with a time of 25.64 and 26th in the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.65 at the America East Championships...Finished seventh in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 free against Bryant and URI (11/3)...Was a member of the second place 400 free relay team against Bryant and URI (11/3)...Member of the 200 free relay team that took second place against Vermont (11/17)...Finished eighth at the URI Harold Anderson Invitational in the 50 free event (12/8)...Member of the second place 400 medley relay team against Providence College (1/17)...Placed fourth at New Hampshire in the 100 free (1/23)...Took home 3rd place in the 50 free versus Boston University (2/7)...Named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
IN 2007-08: Named Most Improved and Maine student-athlete *Rising Star*... Competed in the 200 fly at the America East Championships... Placed third in the 200 free relay at Stony Brook (11/10)... Finished second in the 100 free and won the 200 free relay at Fairfield (11/11)... Placed second in the 400 free relay at Bowdoin (11/19)... Finished second in the 400 free relay at Boston University (12/8)...
BEFORE MAINE: Swam freestyle and butterfly for coach Dick Cuddihee at Contoocook Valley ... Won team MVP and Gayette Award while at Contoocook.
PERSONAL: Majoring in marine biology ... Born January 9, 1989 ... Daughter of Kathi and David Bond... Sister Molly swam and rowed for St. Lawrence.
