Biography

In 2012: Started all 17 games for theBlack Bears… Found the back of the net five times while alsodishing out three assists… Misener found the back of the netin the 5-1 win against the Citadel (8/24), in the 1-0 win at SouthCarolina State (8/31), twice in the 3-1 win at Binghamton (10/7),and in the 3-3 tie against Albany (10/18)… Picked up anassist in the 1-0 win vs. Francis Marion (9/2) and in the 2-1 lossagainst Stony Brook (10/28).

In 2011: Pplayed in 14 games for the BlackBears, making 11 starts... Is Maine’s leading returningscorer with two goals and two assists for six points a year ago...Scored a goal and added an assist in Maine’s 6-0 win overStony Brook (10/20)... Also tallied a goal at Vermont (10/6)...Registered an assist in the season-opener against CharlestonSouthern (8/26)... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner...Named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

In 2010: Played in 18 games for first seasonwith the Black Bears, starting 17... Dished out a team-high fourassists on the season... Had an assist on the game-winner inMaine’s 4-0 win over Iona (8/20)... Had an assist on KelseyWilson’s goal in Maine’s 3-2 win over Rhode Island(9/12)... Tallied an assist on Maine’s lone goal in 1-0 winover UMBC (10/7)... Had an assist on Hannah Breton’sgame-winning goal against Hartford (10/28) in the America Eastquarterfinals... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... Alsonamed to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

Before Maine: Was an eight-year captain of theBurlington Sting... Helped lead her team to the Ontario ProvincialChampionship and a bronze medal at the Canadian NationalChampionships in 2008... Was named Burlington Youth SoccerPlayer-of-the Year for her efforts... Was a member of the OntarioProvincial and National Training Center Teams since 2005... Servedas team captain for three years... Her provincial team capturedChampionships (2006, 2008) at the National Provincial All-StarTournament... Was also a member of the Ontario Canada Games Team in2008... Helped lead Ontario to a Bronze Medal finish at theGames... Currently a member of the Canadian U-20 National Teamplayer pool.
