Originally from Lancaster, PA, Anika Keys-Ludwig joined the University of Maine athletic training staff in July 2025 and currently serves as the athletic trainer for the women's ice hockey team. Before relocating to Maine, she spent more than a decade in Southern California, where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Keys-Ludwig's athletic training experience spans the NAIA, NCAA DII and NCAA DI levels, including time at the University of Saint Katherine, San Diego State University, and Point Loma Nazarene University. During her time at Saint Katherine, she worked with multiple varsity sports and traveled with teams during conference championship and NAIA national tournaments. She has also served as a preceptor for athletic training students.
Keys-Ludwig is certified in dry needling, holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, and is a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) and the Maine Athletic Training Association (MATA).
