IN 2013-14: Captained the team in the 2013-14 season ... Appeared in 29 games ... Scored a goal against Northeastern (11/1)... Added another goal against BU (11/10) ... Scored a goal against Brown where Maine won 2-1... Leads the team in assists with seven ... Notched a goal against UConn (2/22)

 HONORS: Named to the 2010-11 and 2011-12 Hockey East All-Academic Teams... Named 2010-11 Rising Star... Maine Scholar Athlete Award Winner.

In 2012-13: Appeared in all 33 games for Maine... Scored one goal and registered seven assists for eight points... Had a multi point game at Brown (1/5) in which she registered one goal and one assist in a 4-2 win.

In 2011-12: Appeared in all 34 games for the Black Bears... McDonald scored three goals and three assists for a total of six points as a sophomore while registering 45 shots and 15 blocks... McDonald ended the season with a +14 rating.

In 2010-11: Played in all 34 games on the Maine defense... Tallied three assists... Scored her first point in the first game of a two game series at Vermont (12/3-4) and then tallied another assist in the finale.

BEFORE MAINE: Played for the Stoney Creek Sabres... Played hockey at Bishop Tonnos Secondary School… Won high school championship in hockey in 2008, 2009 and 2010… was MVP for her high school team...Also played softball in high school and was named team MVP.

PERSONAL: A Secondary Education major… Born July 3, 1991… Daughter of Mike and Geri McDonald… Has one sister, Katie, and one brother, Geoffrey.
